Shauna is a Registered Nurse and has worked in physicians offices since she was 17 but feels she was called in to care giving from the time she could first remember. She started working at nursing homes and went directly into patient care at a Surgeons office where she started as a file clerk and because of her previous experience the physicians had her assist in the back with patients. They offered to pay for her to go to Med school, but she wanted to be able to help patients on the lower level where she could be more involved in their care. The rest is history. She has worked for ENT, Eye, and Plastic Surgeons. Her last Plastic Surgeon she was with for almost 20 years. She has also been an OR nurse when they needed her and a Hospice and personal care nurse in her spare time. She loves helping people feel better and seeing the smile on their face when they do.
